So we had to post this one.....my very good friend Rosie (aka Topham) lives in Oregon and mentioned to me that earlier this week a little snow had fallen in her area and the place virtually closed down! She was amazed at the difference in what they considered a "snow storm".....so, my most handsome husband in the whole wide world took this picture for her while at work in P.C. We are having quite the winter season in these parts and the two of us could not be more excited! Sorry Nanny and TorTor, but summer will be here soon enough!Thursday, January 31, 2008

and the fun continues.......

The birthday weekend ended just right! TorTor had everyone over for an as usual fantastic dinner and desert to celebrate the day of Moose. All of us, minus one, were in attendance. Jon Jon is recovering nicely from shoulder surgery, we wished he could have made it, but hope he has a fast and speedy recovery. It was a great eve, starting the new week off right!
P.S. Congrats Andy on your P.C. Fellowship!
Nanny and Grandma looking saucy as ever on dish duty!
And there it is folks, sealed with a kiss!

the day of the MOOSE!
Though our post is a day late, we all want to send our HAPPY BIRTHDAY wishes! This handsome devil just celebrated yet another birthday..........ringing the day in with long hours of basement remodel, errand running, and at the close.....a long deserved small sample of scotch! There is no one better than the Moose, no matter the time of day or task he is ALWAYS there to help out! We are all so grateful to have him and we hope he had a wonderful day! WE LOVE YOU MOOSE and THANKS for all you do!

Snow Day in Park City
That's me......angrily pumping my fist in the air. It usually takes something significant to make me this angry i.e., not enough sleep, hunger, or in this case not being able to snowboard. During the week between X-mas and New Year's Day my fantastic wife, Amber, was kind enough to bring all my snowboard gear up to Park City and meet me for a half day of snowboarding. We drove up to Park City Mountain Resort and found ourselves caught in a nasty traffic jam in the parking lot for nearly an hour. For obvious reasons everybody in the lot was furious. I even saw a sixty year old man fight a sixteen year old boy and girl. It was awesome. Sadly, we gave
up and went home, hence the angry fist in my car. We did however get up and go back up to PCMR the next day to snowboard a full day. The day began the same way the previous day ended, chaotic. About an hour wait at the first lift and a forty-five minute wait on the next one, made us realize that we will be sure to stay faithful to our home resort Solitude. The day did get better, we were fortunate enough to meet up with our friends Cami and Scott who know PCMR very well. So they were able to show us around. Lunch was great and it snowed all day giving us plenty of powder to play in. Amber and I wanted to wish everybody health in '08 and that it turns out to be the best year ever. Hopefully all resolutions are maintained and all big goals are fulfilled. We love you all and thanks for making all the previous years great!
